Hi folks,

On Sat we attended an amazing wedding ,in a grove of trees beside a lake, the groomsmen arrived on trail bikes and the beautifull bride on a horse. The whole day was perfect. Yesterday I preached in the Church we used to pastor in Katikati. Sometimes I'm rebuked by caring people who say slow down ,rest up ,but like Jeremiah I can say "His word is in my heart like a fire, I am weary of holding it in" Jer 20:9.

Since voluntarily stopping the chemo my strength has been slowly returning ,on Thursday I meet with my oncologist ,to tell him I'm going to Korea and the Philippines next month.I don't think he will be happy, but I am looking forward to speaking at a large gathering of Pastors over several days. Then moving onto some smaller Churches.

A week ago I was speaking at a small Baptist Church , there was a lovely bright 12 year old boy playing the drums, two days later he had a tragic accident and today we were at his funeral. It was the most moving celebration of life I have ever seen. His parents are shattered as you can imagine , but sustained by Gods grace and surrounded by many friends. How do people cope when they choose to live without Christ and hope of eternal life?. Tomorrow a long time drug user/dealer has asked to come and talk with me, he is dying of cancer. He has rejected God through all the 20 years I have known him, but now he wants to prepare for eternity, and of course receive prayer for healing. I am meeting him at 1pm NZ time ,if you would like to pray his name is Terry.

Several more cell phones have been donated for Filipino pastors ,if you have an old one (that uses a sim card) we can provide an address to mail it to ,or I can carry them when I leave on April 21st. Also if any would like to contribute toward my trip we would be very gratefull. Thankyou for your prayers , and the news from those who write. It's also nice to be in contact with so many through facebook, if you are on ,please connect with us.

May God bless you ,in His service with love David & Darlene.
