Dear friends and family,

I hope you enjoyed a restfull festive season, in NZ the official holiday time ends tonite and many will be back at work tomorrow.

Others get longer holidays of course, I have had speaking engagements so we stayed close to home. Next week (Jan 10th) I'll be at Penninsula Church at Omokoroa and Bethlehem Baptist on the 17th at 9am and 10:45.

Christmas day was weather perfect Darlene Jason & I traveled up to Whangamata where most of the family gathered at Heathers home, after a big meal everyone went to the beach which is very traditional here ,our family allways did that when we were young. I stayed back to enjoy a snooze and received a phone call from a Chinese Pastor checking on my health and asking when I'd be back, their Church have been fasting and praying for me . It was my best Christmas present .Since being sick I have realised in a new way how amazing is the family of God. Jonathan and family also called from New York so it was a lovely day.

On Thursday of this week I begin a govt sponsored series of infusions of the miracle drug RITUXAN in conjunction with the chemo I am currently taking. Some may remember I previously had to pay for this at $5500 a time ,I had it 5 times.Thanks again to those who helped with that cost, and thankyou to all who have continued to support us this year when I have been running at half strength. God willing when this current treatment is finished I will be able to saddle up like a good Circuit Rider. Despite the struggles of 2009 I was blessed to enjoy ministry around the world in 5 countries and see lives touched by the power of God," His strength is revealed in our weakness".

May the hand of God rest upon you providing a new measure of His wisdom ,a new revelation of His power and fill you with His peace, in His service with much love
