	News Update

Dear Friends,

Hi folks ,for several days I have been planning to send a wee catch up letter. Tomorrow I'll be driving up to Auckland to preach and next Sun eve (27th) I'll be speaking at Bethlehem Baptist, but after that I have nothing for any weekend in Aug. I do however have a lot of prep to do for my round the world trip which begins on Aug 25th and returning home on October 29th. Leaving age 62 and returning age 63, speaking in Canada ,USA, Scotland ,Guam and Philippines, with stops in Holland and Japan. Last time I wrote Darlene was away & I'd seriously damaged my shoulder, its slowly coming right and I receive treatment twice a week. Apparently as you age stuff doesnt heal as quickly. But I must say that God has been very good to us and we have no complaints.

The whole world is struggling with the economic downturn, Oil,Groceries,and just about everything we need has rocketed upward. We currently have 9 Churches who help us monthly and 20 individuals who are quite regular, this year because of the falling US dollar we have lost a third of our support ,on top of that my medical costs over the past twelve months have been $22,000 NZ or $16,700 US all of which is paid ,thankyou Jesus. Personally I hate to share our needs , but our missions oversight have suggested that we let our supporters and friends know our position. I have one more year of treatment . Apart from that cost, I am wondering if any individuals or Churches would like to help partner with me on my ticket which is over $3000 .
