David's Health Update
Dear Friends and Family, We have been overwhelmed this past week with all the emails, phone calls, visits and messages we have received . Our family is huge, and as I sat in the hospital waiting for surgery I looked at the others also there with cancer and wondered how hard it must be to go through it alone. Today we received the surgeons report, but it only revealed the type of lymphoma I have which is called Folicular, apparently the most common type. I have also had a lot of blood tests done today and full body x-rays, tomorrow a CT scan at the hospital (I have to drink some junk a few hours beforehand) This will hopefully show just what areas of my body are affected. Next week I will be told what type of treatment they recommend. Unfortunately, I was advised to cancel my planned trip in September, but I could leave November at the moment as planned. So, if you still want to join me in China, let me know. Obviously we are still believing God for a complete healing and we are grateful to all who have prayed. And we know some have even fasted for me which has been a humbling experience. If there are any new developments, we will post them on our website at www.circuitriders.co.nz. Of course you can reach Darlene at the above email address. She has been very faithful in her correspondence. She says I make a very good "dictator"...secretary speak of course!!
