Promoted to Heaven On August 16, Beijings most prominent house church pastor, Allen Yuan, went to be with the Lord. He was 92. More than 2,000 people, mostly house church believers, attended his funeral He was imprisoned for 22 years in the 50s for refusing to join the registered 3-Self Church. He leaves behind his wife and six children.
